CAST IRON MOTORS

Heavy duty designed cast iron motor:

  • Standard with thermal protection 1 set of PTC 150°C;

  • IEC size 80 - 450, ISO F (B-rise), IP55;

  • Efficiency class 2 (class 1 available on request);

  • Available with Right or Left-hand side terminal box for size 80 - 315;

  • Available with brake;

  • Two speed and multi-speed motors available;

  • Quality Bearings (SKF, FAG, NTN).

IP 23 MOTORS

IP 23 motors are very often used for Inert gas blowers as it is possible to generate more power from an IP 23 motor compared to frame size. This is very handy where there is limited space

  • Specially designed for places with limited spaces:

  • Standard with thermal protection 1 set of PTC 150°C;

  • IEC size 160 - 450, Iso F (B-rise), IP23;

  • Quality Bearings (SKF, FAG, NTN).

EXDE(E) MOTORS

Explosion-protected electric motors are used on all types of ships. It is very common to use EEx (e) motors for areas on a ship where a potentially explosive atmosphere containing inflammable fumes (i.e. Gas Tankers, Cargo Pump Rooms, Paint stores etc,...).

These are three-phase asynchronous electric motors with short-circuit rotor, according to the CENELEC EN 50014, EN 50018, EN 50019 (IEC 79-0, IEC 79-1).

PUMP MOTORS AND OTHER APPLICATION

Due to the new environmental rules from IMO where shipping companies that deal with sulphur-rich fuels have to have scrubbers installed in their ships, there is a high need for these.
